Abstract

T. wrosiense Hazslinszky is a subendemic species of the Carpathians. Apart from Slovakia, it has been known namely from Romania and Hungary. Recently, few localities have been reported from Yugoslavia (NE Serbia). The species is rather sharp-cut and locally very abundant. It occurs mainly in oak and beech forests. In a number of regions of the countries given above, the species is not rare. However, it was and apparently still is neglected, usually being confused with T. medium.
