Abstract

The present paper points to the species Trifolium bithynicum Boiss., described a long time ago, which may be regarded as evident in Anatolia (Turkey), the Caucasus, Transcaucasia (U.S.S.R.) and northem Iran. It is one of the representatives of the subsection Intermedia of the section Trifolium and was (and up to present has been) almost universally identified with T. medium.
