Rostlinná společenstva železničního uzlu Brno v oblasti seřaďovacího nádraží v letech 1970–1986

In the years 1970 to 1986 plant communities of the railway marshalling-yard and neighbouring railway tracks in Brno were studied. Altogether 36 plant communities were ascertained. A syntaxonomic survey comprising data on biotopes and frequency of their occurrence is presented. Those plant communities which have recently invaded the area, and whose occurrence has not yet been published, are documented by relevés. At the end, several communities were specified which, if expanding more intensively, could impair railway traffic. During the vegetational investigation, 483 species of Angiospermophytes were recorded. Figs. 1-3 show the distribution of some plant communities in the area under study.
